BABY CARDINALS AND JUNE FLOWERS

This has been a fun month.  Working very hard, but actually enjoying it!  The social distancing continues, so I just work every morning on my gardens.

First:  Baby cardinals on the arbor.  Marvin, the first picture, is from the first brood.  He loves my backyard, especially the fountain, but his father, Moe, wants him to find his own place to live.  Lots of commotion!  After that are the new brood eggs, and little hatchling cardinals.

SECOND:

The Morris Plains Vegetable Garden:

Things are doing very nicely!  I’ve had lots of lettuces and asparagus.  The kale is coming along well, and I already see some little tiny green tomatoes on the TOMIMI!!

THIRD: HOME GARDEN:

The roses were wonderful this year.  Also, I’m very excited about the Apricot carpet rose.  The evening primrose are also amazing.  I love their strong yellow color.  It’s just a great contrast to the red carpet rose which is in all parts of the garden.
